石材路缘石应石质一致，无裂纹和风化等现象。花岗岩保水极限抗压强度应不小于100MPa，洛杉矶法磨耗率小于30%，狄法尔法磨耗率小于5%。石材路缘石的放射性水平应满足放射性比活度CRae≤1000Bq/kg镭当量浓度。

路缘石应安砌稳固，做到线直、弯顺、无折角，顶面应平整无错牙，现具业主要求不得用水泥砂浆勾缝。
The curb should be firmly built, straight, bent and no corner. The top surface should be smooth without wrong teeth.
路缘石必须在沥青面层施工前安装完毕同时在沥青面层施工时加以保护，以防止污染。
